The Plibrico Co., a global leader in monolithic refractory technology, announced the appointment of two new additions to its team. Eric Downing joins as branch manager of the company’s Florida and Georgia locations, and Scott Forster joins as project manager at the Buffalo, N.Y., location.
“Both Eric and Scott are well-seasoned refractory professionals with deep experience in refractories, installation and sales. A 25-year industry veteran with extensive construction experience, Downing was most recently with a major western construction company as a manager of business development. Prior to that, he served as sales and project manager for nearly 16 years with a refractory contractor in North America.
A seasoned professional, Forster has deep familiarity with refractory technology, having previously held senior project management roles for 34 years. Earlier in his career, Forster was a refractory bricklayer giving him first-hand knowledge of installation requirements and the management of work crews.
